Onion, Leek, and Shallot Starts for Planting

IT’S TIME TO ORDER ONIONS, LEEKS AND SHALLOTS! I’ll be placing a bulk order for the growing season of 2025. Cut off date to order is March 28th. I need your order and money on or before March 31st. No exceptions.

The onions will be shipped mid April. Pick up from me is in Fairview only. Once the onions get here you’ll need to pick up and plant asap.

These onions are fantastic! I grow enough to get us through the year. They store well in cold storage. I fertilize with fish emulsion every month and they grow nice a large. Each bunch has 50 to 70 starts. Starts are preferred over sets because they are still in their first year of growth giving you big beautiful onions that generally don’t go to seed. These onions are disease resistant. I have to buy by the case (30). I’ll have to cut off my numbers around the 90 or if there’s enough interest at the 120 mark for onions. I need to get bunches of 10 or more for the leeks and shallots to get the price listed below.

Freeze-Dried Mixed Berries

Orders Due February 21 and February 28, 2025

#10 can of freeze-dried strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. 8 oz. can makes up to thirty-two ¼ cup servings. To rehydrate, soak in cold water until reconstituted but not mushy.

Dehydrated Diced Potatoes

Orders Due February 21 and February 28, 2025

Sponsor: Fairview 3rd Ward

Ingredients: Potatoes, sodium bisulfite. 32 oz. #10 can makes up to fifty-three ¼ cup servings. To rehydrate, add potatoes to boiling, salted water, simmer 10-15 minutes until tender, and drain. Can be used in any recipe calling for potatoes.

Nonfat Dry Milk Group Order Due February 28, 2025

Nonfat dry milk from the Lindon cannery is available for $6.83 per 27 oz. mylar pouch, or $81.96 for a case of 12 pouches. per 50 lb. bag. Orders are due Friday, February 28.
